Check that none of your office equipment or furniture is blocking any heating or cooling vents. Restricting air circulation will cause your system to work harder, wasting energy, and may cause that particular room to be colder.
And if you do prefer to have a piece of furniture over an air vent it is better to block the air control from the main duct through control dampers than to close the vent itself, as this can create back pressure, and again waste energy. Try these simple tips, and see the savings!
