– Women’s Center: This group emphasized the need in the community for more women focused services, with community kitchen, garden, market place, homeless services, child day care and medical clinic.
– Housing Focused: This group choose a more traditional design, of a variety type of housing from 3 story townhomes “accessory dwelling units” (ADU) along 48th, mid rises on the northern edge, a green connection running down the site to the recreation center, with senior housing and retail.
– Service Center: This group was focused their attention to the needs of children and young adults, housing was focused on the North edge of the site, child day care, open market and commercial kitchen.Kids HeavenThis group was designed by the kids for the kids. It included an amusement park, garden, markets, arcade, high rise on the North East corner of the site to take advantage of the views, roof top gardens, a tall “marker” for the site, swimming pool, and townhomes along the 48th Street
