One of last year’s amazing cohorts selected by DSS just secured Ty Lawson to talk about veteran’s issues!
This is an incredible opportunity to showcase the value of how shared space can directly benefit one of our most prized communities – veterans!
This is so exciting because the building will make it easier for veterans to access needed services, education, employment and creative outlets through art. This 20,000 square foot building is strategically located on the north end of Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District, giving the broader community the opportunity to become engaged with veteran who are deserving of so much support.
DSS selected Volunteers of America-Colorado to receive specialize consulting in the build out of their space so it would maximize collaboration with like-minded, like-missioned organizations.
We would like to thank to partner Nonprofit Centers Network for working to help create VOA’s shared space model. DSS will look forward to showing off the incredible impact the new center makes to veteran’s in metro Denver and statewide. We hope this can become a model of how veteran services can be accessed in each state.
DSS is so proud to be a part of VOA’s role in creating a place that will build a brighter future for veterans. Take a look at why Denver Nugget Ty Lawson is supporting this new center, we hope you all support VOA’s efforts!
